The Mid-America Poetry Review will publish, three times a year, new, well-crafted poems primarily from, but not limited to, poets writing in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Submit 1 – 3 poems, 36 lines or fewer, typed single- or double-spaced on 8 ½ x 11 white paper; name, address, telephone number, e-mail address (if available) in top left or right corner. Keep copies of your poems; unused submissions will be re-cycled; enclose SASE for notification. Cover letter (useful but not required) should list items to be considered and contain brief paragraphs of information about author and previous publications. Each contributor receives, in addition to our standard $5.00 honorarium for First North American Serial Rights for his/her accepted poem, a complimentary one-year subscription. Deadlines: Spring, July 15; Summer-Autumn, January 15; Winter, March 15.
