Three Faces of Autumn Book Description The appearance of Three Faces of Autumn, A Charles Guenther Retrospective, makes it possible, for the first time, to appreciate the full range, depth, and influence of Charles Guenther. Three Faces of Autumn brings together not only the poems and translations which Charles Guenther has chosen to include but also his "representative sampling" of essays and critical reviews of books of poetry, of literary criticism, of literary history, of biography, published between 1953 and 2004 in a variety of periodicals and journals: Poetry, American Poetry Review, Focus/Midwest, and others. Many of the critical reviews first appeared in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. |
