Still Here
Book Description
I am still living here on the same farm where my husband and I moved 50 years ago. We moved here in 1953 when we rented from John Keller the small three-room farm house located on 145 acres. . . . My husband, Jesse James Jones, died May 13, 1993. We had 47 good, fun-filled years together. . . . I feel fortunate that I have had the opprtunity to continue living here between the two creeks, East and West Post Oak. Life is good. I am glad I am “Still Here.” --Melva Jones
